This is a weird problem and thankfully doesn'the seem to be getting worse. When it's cold or just getting warm my 2002 Scudo 2.0jti runs like a dream with mid forty mig and easily achieves 7th. However once nice and warm she is fine so long as you don't change gear and have to accelerate. However in the real world of driving this doesn't happen. It brakes and slows down really well, the trouble is as you accelerate. As you push the pedal to the floor you can feel it struggling with a distinct lack of power with 40 as a top speed in 4th and not liking 5th. It really struggles up little hills. Keep the pedal down and you feel a power kick and she is fine until you next brake or slow down. Then after you slow and want to pick up speed again you get the lag and eventual power kick. There are no codes on my mates Snap-on diagnostic machine. Any thoughts? It had a brand new exhaust 6 months ago and the trouble started 3 months ago. Trouble is I am disabled and my Scudo has been converted to house my wheelchair and is my lifeline with the independence it offers me. Without it I am housebound which I find really depressing. I really hope someone can help and tell me what the problem is.

I kinda have the same problem except when mine is cold it struggles to pick up speed until it is warm I have no idea what it is I'm taking it to a garage to have it serviced at the end of the month so hopefully that will sort my problem out if it does I shall let you know. Yours might just need a good service

I hope the service helps you, mine was just the same after. We have put it on the diagnostic machine but again no codes so no hints. I tried it again yesterday. My garage reckons I need to take it to Fiat but they want £175 just to investigate.
