hi my scudo van is blowing thick black smoke on set off was told it was a turbo problem replaced that still doing it was told saturday it was the air mass put a brand new one on still the same now being told theres no earth to the airmass can anyone give me a wiring diagram for ecu to airmass plz thanks john:bang:

Tbh John, seems like you're getting expensive poor advice & I'd doubt the air mass meter is the problem but you could easily wire up an earth off the engine to try it.
Is the engine tappety? Could easily be a dirty air filter, bad injector or at worst, a worn diesel pump.
Either ways, I'd leave it in with someone who knows what they're doing & let them check it otherwise where do you stop?

it only blows back smoke on set off there seems to be a lack of power then the turbo kicks in and black smoke out the exaust ive been told its un burnt fuel

Is the van hard to start, what mileage is on it?
These are inexpensive tests to do but get your guy to check the EGR valve & camshaft, crankshaft position sensors but my gut feeling is still a bad injector.

My Scudo 2.0 JTD was OK on starting the engine, and at low throttle opening, but! By Gum! When pressing the accelerator there was very little power, but huge clouds of black smoke! Hole in turbo hose.
