Hi,
Before I torch the van - (or worse) since breaking down for the 3rd time in 2 weeks I ask you Fiat members to help me please.
I have a 1.6 Multijet Scudo (2010). The error codes are P1586.
There is the usual beep inside just before it cuts out and the message on the dash reads "Antipollution Faulty"

The fuel filter was replaced yesterday and I had hoped that this was the cause of the problem but no. The green flag guy had the injectors slackened off today & I turned the engine over but no fuel came out.
Fuel is getting to the manual primer pump but no further. Green flag guy suggested fuel pump regulator faulty or worse - expensive fuel pump required.
clearly no fuel is getting through but could this be a loose wire or fuse or something? Would the engine management system shut the fuel off for a different reason?
Any ideas please?
Thanks

Hi, :)
use a proper tool to diagnose faults fully, and read pressures,
MultiECUScan is pretty much all you'd need, ;)
