Hi, can you help me please? my 2004 my 2.0 jtd scudo has an issue. Mil light came on the other day, slighly low on power, limp home mode active. After keying off engine , the engine ran on a few more seconds then stopped...proceeded to read codes, P0230 - fuel pump primary circuit. cleared error, light goes off, engine runs fine, stops fine?

Can any one answer?

Does this code relate only to high pressure pump?

Does a 2004 my fiat scudo jtd have a lift pump in tank or just a delivery module and sender?

Would a blocked fuel filter (dont think its ever been changed, we are only owner from new and the van has only done 80000miles.)

yes has a lift pump in tank give it a full service if it hasn't had one

If so do you have any idea why the engine runs on for a few seconds after key off if it is a lift pump issue?, I would have thought that symtom is indicative of a faulty HP fuel pump not shutting off properly inside.

Has the mil light issue again this morning after first start, same run of events , cleared error again didnt re occur once engine had warmed up, but had run on issue again once despite no mil light.

I Have 2006 Fiat Scudo 2.0 JTD
Engine shut down suddenly
Not started anymore
Cheap OBD reader says: Primary Fuel Circuit problem P0230
I have change or tested next parts:
- High pressure fuel pump
- Low pressure fuel pump
- Fuel pump relay
- Fuel pressure valve (at high pressure pump)
- Fuel filter
- Waterpump and timing belt
- ECU has tested
- Fuel injectors tested
After that engine starts (badly)
When i push throttle engine runs first slowly and then normal
After few times throttle pedal push, engine shut down and engine warning light appears.
OBD reader says again P0230
