was suffering leak past on two injectors when i first got it a year or so ago, i managed to get them two injectors our cleaned the seats and replaced the sealing washers, all back together and sorted, apart from it leaked fuel badly (would leave a puddle on the floor when you parked it after use) the diesel would pool around the top of the injectors and then dribble down the engine. Wanted to sort this as its a fire risk and also not helping my MPG.

So i pulled the same two injectors out to clean them up and reseal them, and pulled a third intector that was carboned up and suffering some leakage. struggled like hell the get the sealing washer out of the 3rd injector, eventually got it out to find some chisel marks on the in injector sealing seat, not sure if i did these or they were already there?

Cleaned up all the seats really well with towel and carb cleaner then reinstalled all the injectors with new washers and put everything back together.

Turned the key it turns over fine but won't start!!

When i did the first two injectors last year i didnt prime anything, i just turned the key and it started up, it maybe cranked a couple times more than usual but it started and ran fine.

Now no matter how much i crank it, it will not start. After cranking it looks as though there is a fine mist of possibly vapur lingering around the injectors?

At a loss as to what to do next.

Anybody work on these and have any suggestions, really dont want to have to take it to a garage if it can be helped!

Any help would be massively appreciated

Thanks

did you leave the key in the ignition while you were doing the job? if so you will need to put it on a computer and clear the fault codes before it will start.

No the keys were on the bench tho entire time, could it be a air lock in the fuel system?

been tonight and cracked the fuel lines turned the ignition on and getting fuel to the injectors.

what do I need to scan it with to get fault codes, anybody got a link please?

Please never crack injector pipes
1: the fuel will go straight through your skin without you knowing it
2: it is counter initiative as when the ecu sees the pressure drop it shuts the pressure regulator right down and dumps it all
3 : the fuel pipes are single use items and the leak will be so fine you will never know its there until it ignites
