I have an oil leak. i have replaced the turbo 8 months ago (110,000km) and again 1 month ago (120,000km). it leaks oil when parked which is apparently coming from the intercooler. the leak in turn comes from the turbo. installing a new intercooler does not solve the problem but hides the fact the oil is leaking through the turbo. so why does it leak through the turbo? after 2 new turbos were installed? i don't want an intercooler if it is not going to stop the tubo leaking. any experts out there that can help? cheers Joe :bang:

turbo's often leak a small amount of oil, usualy dispersed as a fine mist from the bearing into the system which may/will collect elswhere. As you have obviously got a leak in your intercooler then thats where it will accumulate as it has found a weak point to escape. When your intercooler is leaking it also makes the turbo work harder and therefor will cause premature wear of the bearing which in turn will leak more oil than usual. Best get that intercooler fixed.
