Hello
I'm having problem with a Fiat Scudo 2,0 JTD 2001. The car suddenly died and the check engine light came on a day when i was driving. After it died it was hard to start but after a while it started and I drove it back to my workshop to check it out and I have came to the conclusion that the intank fuelpump isn't running at all. I have also measured and there is no power coming to the pump. So the pump is OK but what could it be?
I have just bought the car so I don't really know how it is supposed to behave. When is the intank fuelpump supposed to run, when I turn the key or when the engine cranks? And what triggers it to run, sensors, relays etc?
So a brief explaination of the fuel system beavior should be great to.
Cheers!
