Right then I have posted a while a go on here about engine management light coming on was advised to go to the garage and get the garage to read the codes so I did the results are as follows
Code 1: 0191 rail pressure sensor signal improbable
Code 2: 0100 air mass sensor signal too low
The engine light has been on and off it goes off for like a few days and then comes on then goes off in a few hours with restarting
Anyway I got a shot of my mates code reader to see if the light was the same codes it was but the air mass sensor code is not showing up on the cheap code reader
So the van drives fine (it’s a 2001 53k 2.o JTD serviced about 1300 miles ago) then the lights comes on out the blue I need some advice on where to start should I replace the air mass sensor they are about £40 on ebay and should I change the rail pressure sensor (also can anyone please tell my where this is) the rail sensor is like £150 do you have to reprogram the rail sensor
I live in the north east Scotland Banff any one live near Aberdeenshire that can help :bang:
I wish I could just take it to the garage and tell them to fix but I really can’t afford it at the min
Thanks for your time and any help also I think the forum is great :worship:
