OK i need some help new to this site and really could do with some expert advice
i have purschased a 1.9d van and was running great until it developed a stutter after some help from friends i found out and changed the EGR VALVE which has helped a bit but in 3rd gear still jerking when driving along????
second question when buying the van it wouldnt start with the key and it was on a switch so took this apart and relised it was just bit in to in stearing column so undone this now restarts with key down side of driver side where the ecu plug in is, there is to cut wires yellow and grey any ideas what theses are for?????
lastly tried putting diagnositc on the van but computer could not connect to ecu ??? could this be my problem wires cut to ecu and jerking due to ecu f**ked ???
any advice would be great total amateur at this :bang: please help!!
