:( Can anyone help how do you change sidelight bulbs on the new Scudo? Handbook worse than useless

A real pig to do!!. Take off cover behind light, locate bulb holder and turn 1/4 turn then pull out, replace bulb (part No 501) capless pull out push in fitting then refit in reverse order. This sounds simple until you do the job, then you realise there just aint enough wire so you have to do it all with one hand blind.

Thanks followed your advice, not as easy as it sounds!!! Mananged to do it thanks again.

I agree -it's an absolute pig to do this job. I got my wife to do it (she has quite small hands) and fitted some nice bright multi-LED's to the sidelights. Hopefully they'll never go pop for as long as I own the van......

A bit of advice for anybody fitting LED bulbs, Make sure they are can-bus compatable otherwise you cant switch them off! I have fitted led bulbs in side lights and numberplate lights and would recommend this anyday.

Replaced both front sidelight bulbs today with LED, both working fine.

However, really unimpressed with FIAT's idea of "sense" in their configuring of the process.
Ludicrous positioning of port holes for access but worse still WHY only give 3" of cable to get the T10 plug out?

A job in the dark = impossible, a job in daylight damned difficult.
I am going to investigate a T10 male to T10 socket extension cable - only needs to be 6" but will bring the socket out to where you can see it and if they don't exist I'll cut the existing cables and add cable as a soldered extension.

Update... two nights later Ive done a few miles with the lights on and I park up at home.
Turn off lights and go to walk away, when I see front side lights are on but very dim...

Return to vehicle, turn on sidelights and they come up to full brightness, turn them off they go very dim but lit.

They are a couple of new LED's - chosen as they have Canbus chip on them. as the draw will be less than .5 watt I'm going to leave them - but its just annoying they won't go off.
