Help please

Where is egr valve and how do I clean /replace it

its a git, at back of engine so you need long arms or something to stand on and you cant really see what your doing!

I would suggest getting it renewed at dealership, waste of time cleaning it as it will be knackered.

Why do you think you need to clean or replace your EGR valve?
Is it due to at certain revs the engine accelerates and decelerates on its own accord. Occasionally my 07 Scudo will do this but only at certain revs. However, on a trip along the motorway a couple of weeks ago this slight speed up and slow down was noticeable and a bit annoying at times.

Have managed to locate it do you know how to remove pipe of it it seems to be crimped on or I missing something

getting clip off is not the problem its putting it back on, you need dedicated pliers to refit (about £15)

is it just a clip than can be levered off

you have to lever it open, still awkward to slip off. You need to refit or renew this clip and using the proper pliers makes it 100 times easier.
