hi can any one help lost my keys if idrill the ignitionswitch will i be able to start my van with a screwdriver or is there an immobiliser that is going to stuff me ??? help please cheers david

yea there is an immobiliser so even if you get to turn the engine over it will not fire as the transponder ( little black box under the steering behind the tiny store compartment )

will not be receiving a signal from your key
therefor not allowing the solinoid at the rear of the pump to open

there are places that will cut a key and recode the unit i supose
but wont be that cheap .. when i was looking it was about £180.00

Some insurances cover lost keys without affecting you no claims bonus. Worth a phone call to check.
