Hi there, i have a scudo 1.9 non turbo of which im doing the cambelt due to a seized alternator which dissintergrated the fan belt, sucked up all the bits in to the timing cover and has skipped some teeth. However despite being a somewhat competant yet tight mechanic im working off a 2000 autodata book. It is requesting a lock the crank shaft by the a timing pin into the flywheel and i have no idea where, does anyone know if this is the case for a 2001 model. If so where the hole my be located. I have pinned the cam and fuel pump and there are no marks on the crank pully?many thanks

hi, you should find it behind the starter motor ( best removed )
the pin you need is a kind of dogleg but i used a long bolt to go through engine case to flywheel.
