Hi
I have bought one of these vans brand new and within the first few weeks it started to judder in first and reverse when it was cold.
I informed the garage and they said that they had no reports of faults but that some of the fiats did it and it was ok to drive. The juddering got worse and was happening all the time after 15000 and then on one trip it It began to bang going into first gear.
Van went into garage and 5 weeks later after 2 clutches and 1 gearbox later I was handed it back and it was perfect for about three weeks and now it is shuddering again when cold.
Does anyone else know of a problem with these.
It is clear that they have not fixed the underlying fault,
Any reply appreciated
JK

Hi,
Not come accross this problem yet.
Had mine handed over and the monkeys had not even balance the wheels prior to hand over, to say I was not happy would be an under statment.
Have also had issues with the rear door catch which has been replaced twice now and I have now given up on it ever working.
My biggest moan is on the fuel consumption, it's awfull and all the reviews that I read prior to purchase stated 10% up on all it's rivals, Im lucky to get 30mpg empty cruising at 55mph on the motorways.(n)
One good point, it comes with a decent spare wheel! (y)

has the dual mass flywheel been changed????

my doblo was like this until it was changed and its silky smooth now!, apparantly its quite common even at low mileage! just a thought!

i have a 57 plate 120 multijet with 14.000 miles on it and with the same problem but only when the engine is warm i have got it booked in to be looked at but have been told its either an engine mount or the flywheel
