Hi, I have a scudo on a 2000W reg that is my bread and butter works van and it's gone and died on me! Need to be able to source an engine as cheaply as possible, so I was wondering if anyone knew what other cars/vans use the same lump? It's the 1.9 normally aspirated 1867cc.... I'm told it'a a later type one, not an XUD9, but a DW8...please help!!!

XUD9? if i'm right in thinking, it's the same engine used in the Peugeot equivilent, and also the same as the engine in my 306. There'll be a few on ebay for starters.

The DW8 was also used in the Peugeots too.

When you fit the next one, disconnect the solenoid for the EGR valve as this is what causes the majority of conrod failures on the XUD and DW8 pugs. Already done it to mine
