Hi all.
My daughter has just bought her first (ideal) car, a 2012 Fiat 500 Twinair.

We have an issue with the satnav in that the GPS does work. The satnav thinks that the car is in Newcastle when in fact it is in Gloucestershire.

The SatNav is the Magneti Marelli version, which I know is not ideal but it would be nice to get working properly.
There's an option in the satnav setup which enables/disables the GPS but that makes no difference. I've removed and then reconnected/paired with BlueAndMe2 successfully but that makes no difference.

So I assume that there could be a connection issue with the antenna. Does anyone have any other suggestions or how I can check the antenna conection?

Thanks
Vic

Press on the map to get to main menu, press arrow to move to page 3 of 3, press Status & Information , press GPS Status. This will give you the status screen which tells you how many satellites etc.You may just find you are in a bad area, aerial is internal to the Tomtom unit.

Thanks for your reply RedAbarthMTA. Unfortunately this is a Magneti Marelli not a TomTom devide so the menu options are different and I can't see a GPS status page.
The third page of the Menu shows an Info About button, but pressing this only gives the page showing Pocket Driver 2.8.12.

I've pressed the Enable/Disable GPS button but there is no difference. I've also pressed reset on the back of the unit and it still thinks I on Newcastle.

Thanks
Vic
