To be honest there isn't much in it, you can buy a decent model from any of the main brands for a hundred quid that'll do what you want.

Re: Sat nav advice

I used nav free for a while but it started giving me adverts so I binned it. What I did now was got one of these

http://www.theoriginalfactoryshop.co...e-sat-nav.aspx

The tend to be 10 cheaper when the sale is on or get one 2nd hand on ebay. I got one for 10. Just get a UK and Ireland one and run the iGO8 software from the SD card. You can add maps, Points of Interest and Speed Cameras. It wont tell you when plod has a hand held in a bush though. It will also give you your speed. If you want one and look in ebay that is a Binatone F430.

You using the latest iGO8 software? I have the static speed cameras in mine. The other later software (Primo 2) also works on the Binatone from SD card that also has speed cameras. Yeah, my Garmin is great - none of this U-turn nonsense. But it did once suggest I turn left across a river...

Yeah I found a lot of help there, I used to get the data full error. I don't bother with the speed cameras, if I get caught it's my own fault but yeah for free it's great

(what year of GPZ750 have you got?)

I had data errors when installing direct into the F430 but it seems ok now since I started to use the Kikker skin.

The bike is the old air cooled A model from 1984 vintage. It had been stored for over 10 years when I got it so was low mileage. Managed to get it for 350 as a non runner and had it running, taxed and MOT'd for another 100. Bonus

Re: Sat nav advice

Good stuff, I have the 900 1984 model and would really like a standard exhaust set up but even if you find one you need a mortgage to buy it. If i'm correct the only difference is bore size otherwise they are pretty much identical?

Kikker skin??

Kinkker skin is for igo8. It seems to use less space or resources making less errors.

You should pop over to the Kawasaki forum as I few member in the know will tell you what fit what models. Another member had the 900R and some spares. He sold the bike but may still have the spares.

Another is

http://kawasakiownersclub.com/index/

The first is quiet and the 2nd can be a but stuck up. Admin are sticklers for the rules.
