i work at halfords and i am the person that people come to see about sat nav problems and which 1 is beest blah blah.
i find it really irritating when people buy a sat nav, take it away and come back the next day complaining it doesnt work.
the reason i find this irritating is the fact that halfords offer those free demos to show how they work etc and set it up for you, yet the ones that come back with complaints are always those 'il do it myself' types of people. i think theres a few things people should bare in mind when purchasing a sat nav.
1. If you want something simple buy a garmin
2. If you want something cheap get a s**t one (RAC, Navman, Navigon)
3. If your not certain on how to operate it take advantage of the FREE SET UP AND DEMO!!!!!
whats all your thoughts on this. any similar experiences with sat nav. are you one of the 'Il do it myself' people that irritate me at work
