I am thinking of purchasing the Tom Tom XL IQ Live unit.

Could someone help me though? It comes with three months free subscription to the Tom Tom Live, however, do these units have the basic RDS traffic sensor in them? If I weren't to keep up the Live subscription would I be able to continue to recieve basic traffic info or would I need to go out and buy the additional RDS reciever?

Can get the XL IQ Live for £189:99 the same price as the XL IQ but with the IQ I'd need to go out and buy the RDS Reciever also?

Don't bother, you pay way too much for pointless things. Get a garmin insead, more for your money.

Had a Garmin before and thought they were rubbish compared to Tom Tom.

Don't know what the 'now' Garmins are like but the Garmins of about 2-3 years ago I thought were bad compared to the Tom Tom's of the time.
