has anyone sorted out the gps on there n95 yet Ant!

Heard you can run tomtom etc.

mine aint workin as of yet, gt to get it set up, will do soon though

mine aint working, there ment to be sending me map codes and such so i can install maps for free, tried using it but it dont wanna find my location

The guy at the vodaphone shop used the nokia system (pay them for maps) from rochdale to ashton on a pay as you go and it cost £15 he he what a rip a friend said he can load the maps on the chip but like you said there is no reader yet but wont be long do i wait or buy the bluetooth external receiver i'm going tom tom Feck nokia rippers!!! Ant! cheers lads!

thought they came with full UK maps?

The GPS works on mine, tells me were i am, just wont let me arrange a trip with it unless i pay it.

Im just waiting for TOMTOM to release there version.

I have just bought one of these, incredible phone shame about the lack of tomtom compatibility ATM though...

also shame about the battery!!!!! it likes being plugged in Ant!

i'm also having major trouble hooking it up to my home wireless network if it's encrypted with WPA2... any ideas?

Has anyone managed to surf the web on there n95 through their router, i'm going round and round cant work it out Ant!

it isnt hard to set up, my wireless router and phone work perfectly together its bloody fast as well

hmm ill see what i did when i get home and then come back and write it down

can you get your GPS to find your position? im in some country in europe aparently

i've been doing it on my wireless router for ages but it's only when it's unsecured.

i still cant get it to connect to any secured network even if it has the correct wep/wpa code.

mine connected straight away, i checked it wud connect using the normal connection, then i used home network wizard, 9 steps and your done, only takes 2 minutes
