I'm struggling here. I have the Fiat Official Workshop Manuals for the for the Regata (as I owned a 70S) and this module is not appearing. Your picture suggest 7 pins. No 7 pin devices associated with ignition etc. 8 yes.

Also web searching this modules appears to be an "ignition cut off" (used on Lancia Delta) as opposed to an ignition main module.

Need more information about what you have and think it's function is. Also why you want to fit it etc.?

Hello and thx for reply. I own a 70s as well and i have the haynes manual for it and as you stated it doesn't appear anywhere. This is why i asked here.

As for the module itself, although it is 7 pin. Its wiring (original loom) is 5 wires out of the 7 pins. Why i want to fit it? Because it used to be the original module on the car and i'm returning everything to factory setup. I'm almost certain it is the electronic ignition module. The reason is it has a wire that goes to the coil and the rpm. So it is definitely an ignition module.

I know that regata mostly came with 4xx (416, 408.. Etc) electronic ignition modules with sensors. This module works on models without sensors.

Thanks for this update.

I was going to delve into the Haynes manual I have so I'll skip that. I think I have a Porter Manual so will look their.

I'm pretty sure I did not miss anything in the Fiat Workshop Manual but will check again (when I can as I'm very busy trying to house move and property hunt which is taking 99% of my time)!

I mentioned Lancia Delta so you may wish to research that avenue.

Good luck with the move.

When u r free and can find the wiring will be great.

I'll check the delta too
