Tuning Rusty camshaft

Hello i have gotten a camshaft for free for my fiat ritmo 1.3 70cl

But the camshaft is quite rusty. Can this be saved somehow or is it for the trash can?

Will i be able to use the camshaft from 2.0 125/130 tc on my 1.3 70cl engine? I’ve heard the only difference is that the cams are sharper. But should be plug’n’play

Fiat 1301 is a Lampredi SOHC engine (inlet & exhaust on one camshaft), 125/130TC is a Lampredi DOHC engine (inlet & exhaust on separate camshafts), I would be seriously surprised if that would work.
