I need front and rear shocks for a 130tc. Condition doesn't matter, I just need them for a pattern to get custom shocks made up. Cheers

Can not help actual parts that you can have copied but here is some information that may help.

1) The Rear shocks are I belive the same dimensions as fitted to any normal Strada or Regatta. However their damping is uprated. The stub axles are same so the stub axle to shock flange mounting bolt holes are the same.

For the 105TC/1600cc the Fiat part number was: 5975663 (weight 3550 grams) and was replaced (01/03/1991) by 4472943 (weight 3730 grams).

For the 130TC/2000cc the Fiat part number is:7531937 (weight 3650 grams)

2) The Fronts are *probably* the same in physical dimentsions as apart from the springs the swivel plates and pads are the same.

For the 105TC/1600cc the Fiat part number was: 7531935 (weight 3300 grams)

For the 130TC/2000cc the Fiat part number is:7531936 (weight 4380 grams)

3) If you go here: https://www.nick-bailey.co.uk/strada_abarth/strada_tech_specs.html you will find information on the front and rear suspensions with shock absorber travels and extentions etc. No information on damping but spring characteristic (loadings, sizes, etc.) are quoted so a good suspension expert should be able to work out good/ideal shock absorber ratings.

An other option is to contact Leda UK. I've just spoken them them and they can almost certainly refurb you old unit AND make them future serviceable.

Thanks for that info. Really handy. I am building the car into a rally car. I can take the shocks off mine and use but it's a bit inconvenient.

Firstly ...... please don't bend your Strada rallying. There are so few left. We have done over 6000 tracks miles / sprints etc. some sessions as long as 153 laps / 288 miles all trouble and damage free. Hope you fare as well.

Regarding the front struts then you could remove one, measure the dimensions, mounting holes, clearances etc. take some pictures and look for other/coilover replacements.

Rear could be more tricky due to the leaf spring setup (affects the top turret) but a replacment coilover with no spring should work.

A lot will depend on your "class" in the Rally regs regarding modifications etc.

My car is an ex group A race car that was returned to the road in the 90s. I have to keep the leaf spring for the regs. I have ordered a lowered spring but it is standard stiffness. So it will be a little soft compared to other race cars. I will be using it mostly on tarmac rallies so I don't need as stiff as you would for track work. There is a lack of options on the spring so I may have to get one custom made at some point if it is too wooly.
