Looking for the following for my 130TC:
Bulkhead clutch cable pulley
Front strut brace
Speedo cable (rhd)
Bush that holds the accelerator to the interior bulkhead
Would be grateful if someone has a pic of the fitted clutch cable
pulley they could post too.

FYI the clutch cable assembly (original comes as complete unit with pulley) went through at least two design iterations due to the cable failing.

Two basic changes were made:

1) a different and slightly large diameter pulley wheel
2) the cable twist/wind direction was changed

With 2) because of the differences between left hand drive and right hand drive meant that with the right had drive the required bend in direction meant the when the cable was loaded the cores would tend to try and untwist. This would then result in repeating stresses that would cause first one strand to fail, then another and another till cable failure.

The cable strand twist was reversed so that this natural loading twist during operation would try to tighten and not undo the cables natural stand twist.

Thanks for the info, do you have any pics of the pulley?

No and possibly not that easy to get as the pulley assembly is hidden behind the exhaust manifold heat shield so view is very much limited.

I have a brand new sealed one (as in heat sealed plastic original parts bags to keep moisture out) but this is the typical Fiat parts bag with loads of Fiat/Ricambio markings that make the contents fairly obscured. Next time I'm at the car I'll have a look at what may be possibly.

May I ask why you are specifically interested in a picture of the pulley wheel?

As I recall the older pulley wheels were white/cream coloured plastic with cut-outs / notched to take ferules that were clinched onto the cable core. The later design was different.

The issue is that a previous owner had part fitted a croma turbo engine and box and then converted to hydraulic from cable. Hence I don’t know what I’m looking for to get back to a cable based system or what I need to do to the bulkhead, which decent pics would help no end.

I've put the images on my website.

I've done it this way as I've put up high resolution images that you can download as you see fit and then zoom, crop, etc.

It was not possible to get a picture of the pulley assembly in on the car as it is completely hidden behind a heat shield. Sorry.

Hi Nick, thanks so much for taking the time to do this for me, it’s a fantastic help. Thanks again. ?

It’s looking like I’m going to have to make it as I can’t find one.
If you wouldn’t mind, please could you let me know the diameter of the pulley and also pic of it against a vertical and horizontal surface would be very helpful. (so I can have an idea of the angle/slant it’s mounted at.)
Many thanks Nick

OK - Here are the critical dimensions.

1) The mounting bolts are M8 and length 14mm. They are captive on the mounting flanges.

2) Bolts in (1) are spaced 50mm apart

3) The angle of the mounting flanges is 50 degrees to the horizontal plane. This means that the top flange bolts is 45mm from the pulley wheel centre line. The bottom flange bolt is 15mm from the pulley wheel centre line. Bolt centre line offset is 30mm.

4) Pulley wheel outer radius (to flange lips) is 42mm. Pulley wheel groove depth is 5mm. Pulley wheel inner radius is 37mm. Pulley wheel thickness is 9mm. Pulley wheel cable gap/slot is 5mm wide at the top reducing to a radiused bottom width to take a 3mm cable diameter.

5) NOTE! The pulley wheel is not a 360degree round pulley. It has been cut to provide only a 140 degree arc of actually pulley groove. This has been done to match the offset mounting angle when the lower bolt bulkhead position is only 30mm away from the pulley wheel centre line.

Suggest you review this information with the pictures I linked.

Nick

Hope this helps . R.h.d. 1.5
