Lovely picture of your Strada looking in excellent condition. MkI Strada Abarth on MkII Strada body.

You may find some technical data I have compiled of use:

Thanks ! Yes the “Abarth 2000” sticker and pin stripes are not period-correct, but as not ‘hardware’ I let myself get away with it

I will resist the temptation to go with the smoother grille / cromadoras - now that would really create a mish-mash!

Shes only making 100-odd horsepower at the moment, some serious Weber-work required !

Have you driven a 125TC Nick ? Would be interested to hear your thoughts on that one. Happy New Year !

Niether are the pinstripes and rear wing scorpions on ours : https://www.nick-bailey.co.uk/strada...top_gear_3.jpg

All the rest of the mechanicals are original. Note the lack of window wind deflectors. They were fitted when she was build (still has foot marks in the paintwork) but for some unknown reason Fiat removed them either before shipment to the UK or at Bristol docks. This is why people with last import models in the MkIIs were often looking for them.

I guess now that there are only a handful of MkIIs left someone will find the hidden stockpile of wind deflectors in 'as new' condition. Rather ironic as they will possibly be the old body trim spare parts available.

Re: 130tc Workshop Manual

Thanks Nick - Love the scorpions - black is a great colour for the car as well, seems to freshen the appearance by 5-years for some reason !

I located my deflectors over at the FB Ritmo Club Page (the main one) - a little bit of a process with the need to use Italian-English translating engines and of course IT-NZ postage logistics (eeek) however the main longer term members have been very helpfull. These were an optional extra in NZ as well.

Cheers, Hamish
