? What do you mean?
Can you explain how to post pics anywhere I'm not bothered.

Thanks for your help.
Yep certainly need to stock up on mig wire and primer for this one that's for sure.
The owner before me used it as a donor vehicle for his Abarth and now it's done this is what's left. Not much taken from it really outer door trim body kit part, carb fuel pipe T piece, horn centre ,oil sender bolt, boot alignment plate.
However he has a shed full of spares so I am waiting to see what he has before I start buying elsewhere.

Cleaned the carpet yesterday with washing up liquid and a jet wash .
A couple of smallish holes but these will be covered by mats hopefully.
Going to put a charger on the car to see what the electrics are like.I'll remove some dodgy wiring first. It used to have a tow bar so there are loose wires all over at the moment.

Am looking forward to following your progress on this one.

Your cars the same age and colour as mine. Few things that I've noticed from the photos.

Yours seems to have the mk3 cromodora wheels, whereas mine has the pirelli wheels.

Wish I had the skill to attempt something like this, good luck. Here's two photos of my Strada taken a few days ago to encourage you!!

Wow that looks good.
What does it go like?
What interior do you have?
Is there an engine stabiliser bar from the suspension turret to the engine if so mine's missing.
Have you had it long?
Any way have taken out dash , clocks, wiper linkage, heater box and discovered more rot .
Connected a battery to it and the only thing that came on was the petrol pump which then pumped petrol everywhere. No dash lights or anything else just the pump.
Any ideas? Is there an ignition relay ? If so why did the pump work? And why not hazards? Never mind something to think about for another day.

Going to respray bright orange with blacked out rear windows and painted black surrounds

one day.

I've had her just over a year now.

Here's some more photos. She's so original that I plan to keep her that way really. Seats were recovered by another owner. It's had an engine rebuild with a Guy Croft cylinder head and a few other mods.

She does need a new exhaust really and I addressed one or two issues with earthing points and non working oil temp sender etc. Currently need to sort out windscreen washers, which is an MOT requirement, didn't realise that Doh!! Quick panic fix involved switching rear and front pumps to get water on front windscreen which got me an MOT, looking for a permanent solution right now.

Am pretty sure there are ignition relays, Can you hear the coil buzz when you turn the ignition key? I'd have to check the wiring diagrams. Do you have a wiring diagram?

Hi don't have a log book let alone a diagram.
No worries about it yet I'm going to carry on stripping parts in the mean time.
Yours must have been well cared for to look that good.I think mine's been well hammered to look this bad:(

Removed rear side windows and all trims.
Going to hopefully remove petrol tank front screen and wiring later.

Is there an engine stabiliser bar from the suspension turret to the engine if so mine's missing.

Yes there should be TWO stabiliser bars. These are secured to the cylinder head above the gearbox with one going backward towards the rear inner wing by the turret and the other going forwards to the front inner wing behind the headlamp.

It is quite common for the metalastic bushes to fail and as no replacements are available the previous owner probably took the bars off the stop the clattering and rattling that would have been happening.

If you find the bars then I can supply the bushes (my own design).

In addition you may like to look a my website and the Strada Abarth pages and resources. If you want parts slide access then you better apply before ASAP as I won't be able respond for 3 weeks.

Yep both my bars are absent .
Never mind need to put them on my shopping list.

Been scouring all sorts of Ebays .
I'm still waiting for the previous owner to let me know what spares he has before I start collecting elsewhere.

Been busy sourcing parts now have good doors , boot with good spoiler, drivers front wing. Going to collect more parts tomorrow night.:)

More pics uploaded.
Removed rear spoiler from replacement boot.
Stripped lower half down to bare metal.
Sorted out some of the bigger dents by panel beating.
Applied a couple of thin coats of filler.
Had some more ideas regarding the finished article.
Going to go for Revolution RFX alloys in 14" with colour coded spokes (5 spoke), with polished lip, these are retro wheels and were fitted as standard equipment to Alfas I think.
Also would like some lairy cams if possible, when the rally comes to town and we stand at the start line it's always the worst sounding rattly cars that go the quickest.
