Hi there, My name is Adam, i bought a '84 105tc last week as a bit of a project. Being in a relatively sunny location it ahsn't got any major rust just bits of surface rust that need attention and rust in the hatch under the window and spoiler. I've fixed up a few things already but needs the following work doing before it goes for re-vinning (been out of the registration system for 3 years so needs new plates):
-handbrake cables are stretched after being stood for 8years
-It's missing the boot lock and catch assembly
-bit of rust in rear hatch that needs sorting
-tires
-radiator is craked
-Drivers seat won't stay up so that needs fixing also
But apart from these few things i'm very pleased with it, i tried to start it wit some fresh fuel in the floats, battery and some oil down the bores. to my surprise it started first time.
I'm having a hard time trying to find a loack assembely over here. Can anyone help me out with this part? I hope you can. I'll try and post some pics in the next few days.
Thanks in Advance Adam

Hi do you have any pictures, and try www.strada130.co.uk for parts and advice. i have a mk1 strada 105tc which im doing up too,its in a bit of a mess but im getting there.hope thie helps abit.mark

Hi there, i have got some photos, I've found the bits i was after, it's a shame though because a guy over here was stripping a mint looking 130tc but had no motor or box so he was parting it out, i got the radiator and handbrake cables off that and found someone with a parts 105tc which i've got the lock off. Here are some pics, sorry about the quality they were taken on my phone:

Thanks for the welcome btw.

Thanks for that (y), yea it is relatively rust free, has no rust in the "usual" areas from what i've read on some buying guides, just rust in hatch and small patch in the bottom of the a post in corner of sill on the p/s :(. I'm planning on getting it setup to 130tc abarth specs, but keep the 1600, fit twin carbs and a free flow exhaust (y). From what i've read the factory exhaust system is really restrictive?

Was it designed like that to meet emmissions in Italy?
I have a list of things i want to do when it's back on the road:
-front and rear strut braces
-oil catch tank
-twin carbs or replacement panel filter on top of single carb
-130tc extractors, change back box
-130tc recaros
-poly bushes
-maybe half roll cage

I'm not allowed to modify anything for its re-vin or it's an instant fail, so for the mean time i'm trying to get it looking as original as possible. Any other mods that will help release a few extra horses without taking the motor apart? My goal is to have an extremely fun car, sharp handling and quick acceleration, i would buy a 130tc but they are nearly $10,000 over here. And from what i've read you can get nearly 130bhp just from changing carbs and exhaust system?
Cheers

I'd say the standard back box was for noise & emissions as the rest of the system is straight through.
Shame your on the other side of the world as i have a strada front strut brace & Half cage for sale :(

I've been looking into importing a 10v turbo engine for my audi and it isn't as expensive as i first thought so importing bits from the UK is a possibility, although over here the roll cage has to be made upto NZ motorsport standards and can only be had if you possess a clubsport licensce, I've priced one up and will cost about $1100 for a full cage or $600 for a half cage, fornt strut brace shouldn't be to hard to make, I made one up for the front and rear of my previous car, Alfa Romeo 33 1.7QV that thing went like stink until the head gaskets went and the bulkhead fractured on a hill climb  but if i had a chance i would be interested in those bits, just the postage that is a killer.
