Technical 1800 sohc engine in a strada?

Hi Folks,
Rumour has it that in Europe they had a 1800 Strada, sohc engine.
This version was not available in the UK. Can any one confirm this?
I would be interested in buying one if any one has one.... even if its abroad.

Only Strada model I know of with an 1800cc engine is the later year 2000+ Strada Pickup as sold mainly in the South America regions.

1800cc engines in the older Strada days would have been twin cam unit as fitted to Spiders/124s etc.

You would be much better off with the old 1800 twincam than a sohc if one exist's. I'm looking for a 1800 twin cam engine if anyone has one for sale.
