Yes it is. But it rusts like hell. The gearbox is a mess. And the guy making the earth connections must have been very drunk on cheap italian wine.

But it is a dream to drive. It´s a GTI and GSi killer. (130TC Abarth).

Morten.

It rusts, but not worse than other cars. I bought one last year with the original paint on it (from 1985) and was not very rusted. I'm courious how quickly will appear rust after the repaint.
About the earth connections, I'm afraid you're right.I have some warning lights permanently on and no failure. I think this is the reason.

Off the subject here but it's about the famous  Fiat strada, did anyone notice on TV's 'deals on wheels' a strada in that collectors garage/ Over 50 cars including ferraris/morris minors etc....& a strada!

nice abarth one though they only rust from neglect just like the delta keep on top of it and its ok (y)

Well, this one looks good.

We´ve hade 4 Ritmos. One 85 S and 3 Abarth 130 TC. They don´t rust only by neglect. They rust due to poor quality steel quality, and it is a fight to keep the car rust free. Especially in Norway, where it is 6 months of winter and salty roads. The 85 S broke apart when we were lifting it in a garage. The welds were so rusted it just snapped, and front window cracked to pieces.

But what an engine. It is insane. The throttle responses almost before I put the foot on the pedal - just by thinking more power. Twin-carb, twin-cam (still 8 vents, but LARGE), and 2 litre engine does the trick.

In those conditions it would rust even it was made of wood! :)

my precious 130TC...picture taken last summer, after years and years of fixing

i need to get mine back on the road. to hear those twin carbs sucking in great amounts of air is bliss. when tuned properly, the engine whistles. only 45 or so on the road and about another 70 or so in various states in britain.:)

hi big nutts.
yep, they rule. the bellow from the twin solex 40 ADDHE''s is magic. and with the suspension polyflexed on mine, it handles beautifully.
its black and shows all the marks so needs the body respraying too. all to be done once my health is back to 100%. iam about 90% there so not long to go.:) (y)

Beautifull Ritmo Mikko (y)

all kind of pictures...from body (rust rust and more rust)...brakes (front 285mm Lancia Delta Integrale, rear also from Delta Integrale)...suspension (koni adjustable and coil-over front)...wheels (195/45r16)...

Nice, mine was also rusted like s...
It should be finished in a week or two. I will try to install rear disk brakes from Tipo sedicivalvole, callipers will be from Uno Turbo. I hope it will fit
Why don't You put plastic wheel arches and side skirts on Yours?
I have a few at home, so if You need.....

Front and rearwheelarches are wider (~30mm/side) now and that makes side longer...so original skirts and arches are too short. And seconr reason is that there was no intrest of making holes... Delta/Prisma rear disks are easy to fit in Ritmo, open two bolts that holds rear hub...all that drops out replace from Lancia...

I see that Your Ritmo was just as rusty as mine.
I was looking for Lancia rear disk brakes but the only guy that had them asked for too much money. I bought complete Sedici rear suspension, with bridge, and disks ... for 50 euros
