Appreciation at last!

The Strada Abarth has just been named in MSN`s 50 top 80`s cars (the Uno Turbos number 12 as well)

Re: Appreciation at last!

Much as I love the Strada and The Regata, I try to take positive or negative reviews of these two smashing cars by these so called 'experts' with an extra large pinch of salt.

Is it me or do these f***ing 'lists' seem to be made by some sort of 'bot?

Re: Appreciation at last!

They (both AOL & MSN) do seem to be very amateur productions & most of the time not technically correct... (they obviously hadnt read about the twin cam Regatas), they fail to acknowledge how advanced the ES`s stop start system was too & it doesnt sound like they`ve seen a Strada in the metal, let alone driven one (who here knew the Strada was based on the 128?).

Its like they`ve got a teenager to read a few old copies of Auto Express & Motor, watch a few series of Top Gear & then write some satyrical articles.

It just goes to show, a little knowledge can be a bad thing.

And just think how many people then absorb these `facts` & think they then have knowledge

Strangely, these articles dont seem to have a name put to them...

Still despite all this, I still feel happy when I see cars I like in the `top` charts for any reason... lol
