General Potential Qubo purchase

General Potential Qubo purchase

I've had a Fiorino and 4 Qubos.

The latest Qubo (67 plate) is the quietest I've had and the economy of the facelift model (generally) is a bit less than the earlier model (now 56.5 mpg) but it's much quicker off the mark being 80PS vs 75PS.

Crosswinds no problem. Top mounts will be a watchword I guess unless Fiat have finally admitted there is a problem and fitted quality mounts and waterproofing. There's a pair pf pipes coming from the bulkhead to the engine that fatigued on the engine mount due to vibration - I had those changed under warranty on the Fiorino (12 plate) and a steering fluid pipe under the front valance split (might have been vibration again) which was a warranty job on a 16 plate Qubo I had.

Versatile vehicle - lots of space with seats out and that facility is really good. (y)

Hi

How have you found the Qubo for comfort on journeys

It will do lots of fast A road and Motorway work

How is roadnoise..?

Ok in crosswinds..??

Any pointer for things to watch?

Thanks

Charlie

Thanks both (y)

Ive had the older 1248's.. pre DPF models quite happy with that

Used to crust strut tops too

Vehicle Ive seen is a low miles 1248..
No chance of warranty support..
So I am keen to hear of what fails and when.

I had forgotten 'commercials' still have hydraulic PAS.. Split that hose on my old 1.9 td..

Cheers
Charlie
