Joined as there is a problem with my father in laws car.
Coolant pouring out almost as fast as you fill it, underneath the crankshaft pulley, so guessing it’s probably the water pump.
Question 1. Are there 2 types of water pump depending on engine model; 1 driven by the cam belt, the other by an auxiliary belt?? I’ve looked for the replacement by reg no and think it may be the latter with the bigger pulley.
Question 2. What do I need to strip off to get to it; as I’ll check if before I order one. I.e does engine mount need to come off etc. or is it easier than that?
I realise this engine is in several vehicles, would ther be anywhere better to post other than Qubo specific.
Just getting all the knowledge together before I start, as I’ve got to do it on his drive and need to make sure I take all the tools over thatI need.
