Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie...

Been looking through the archives over the last month as I am a relatively new 2013 Qubo 1.4 petrol owner in Cape Town. Love the car. Shortly after purchase I had the 60000km(4 yr)cam belt service done and the top strut bearings replaced. I still have a slight "groaning" noise emanating from the front suspension, local dealer felt it might be the steering rack...hopefully not:( It's not as loud as the top strut noise but something is still making a noise?

Something else has just started happening, I wondered if anyone else has had this issue. The "Inst Consumption" readout on the dash has started to work in reverse. IOW when I depress the accelerator pedal the reading goes down and when I ease off the reading goes up! It worked as normal for the first 3 weeks but has suddenly done the reverse of what it should do. Anyone had this happen?
Thanks.
Paul

The instant fuel consumption is working exactly how it should
Instant means how much fuel you are using at that second

So if you accelerate your mpg goes down as you are using more fuel

This is true if you're expecting MPG, but if you're expecting l/100km then it should be the other way around.

That's correct, I am using l/100km and it should go down as you try to drive economically and go up if you're flooring the pedal. As I said it had been working correctly for about a month but after my last fill up, it suddenly started working the other way around:confused:

Any chance you've inadvertently or otherwise swapped the consumption to mpg in Settings? That would cause the same issue...

Just a thought.

Hi,

I embarrassed, thats exactly what I did:cry:
I'd sort of forgotten about it But when I looked the settings, I must have changed it to Km/l
Thanks for the response R-V-M
