Hi guys, I am looking to buy my first Qubo and I was hoping you could tell me if the above Qubo is a good buy and what I should look for when I go to view it please?

1.3 Multijet DERV £3995 approx. 44K miles 12 months MOT.
If you want to look at their website it is AT Car Sales Corby Northamptonshire

Many thanks in advance

At 44K expect the top suspension bearings to have already been replaced, or will soon need replacing. Same goes for front springs. Check the wear on the front tyres, are they the same brand/spec as the back, if not why ?. It will have a DPF, lots of potential problems there, just check that on the Forum.
Price seems pretty reasonable. Make sure you get a good warranty from the Car Sales.
Apart from the above, great little car, like all they have their problems, some by design some otherwise. Fantastic on fuel, depends how you drive, mine is a auto, and only last week my average was 58.7 mpg. Cheap to insure, normally. Have you a 'good' garage to use for repairs, Fiat are 'B' expensive, a Fiat (None Fiat) specialist is great if you are near one............good luck.
Cheers Qube O.

Qubo is a good car with a modest list of issues all can be fixed at modest price compared to many. DPF will be fine if you drive it properly (regular runs town to town for example). It won't be if you potter about all the time in traffic.

Thank you for the response guys, I can confirm via the MOT check website that both front springs have been replaced even though at different times but can't see anything about the bushes.
This is also the 95BHP version so I am hoping it will be quite nippy.

I do quite a lot of short town journeys so would it be wise the thrash the nuts off it once per week to keep things from sooting up?

I have the 95 version well worth the extra grunt, good find. Yes just give it a good run regularly. Mine regenerates the DPF every 2500 miles or so, don't notice it happening. Have 76000 miles on it now, also 61 plate.
This one is low miles for the age, suggest you go on an extended sight seeing tour or visit a long lost and remote friend, it might benefit from a long steady motorway run.

Just a question about the cam chain. Does anyone know what the interval is for this to be changed?

Thanks again.

Think its expected to last the 'life' of the vehicle, but bear in mind, engines that have not had oil changed at the correct intervals, or have had a 'cheap' oil used can suffer cam chain failure...…...should be changed every year/10k, or less depending on use...…..with the correct (expensive) fully synthetic oil. Cheers Qube O.

Well guys I bought it for 3.5K and they are doing a full service with mot and offering a standard 3 month warranty. I am actually excited for a change about buying a car!!!!

I'll let you know how I get on with it although 2 jobs are needed asap 1st I need two roof rails and 2nd tint the rear windows.

Been looking for the pic of them on the car but no luck. They are not the Fiat standard, they are after market for the Quobo/Fiorino/Nemo. They have a slightly different shape as the come to the front. Sorry will keep looking!!
