I have had an ongoing problem with my Qubo auto gearbox as it has a recurrent issue with grinding when trying to go into reverse and also now fails to going into first gear or jumps straight to second.
It was temporarily resolved by initially a resynch and then by a clutch change but the fault continues to reoccur. The car has now been sat on my drive since Oct 17 as it refuses to go into gear and I am in dispute with the dealer who I am currently taking to court. However the dealer is claiming bankruptcy and I may end up stuck with a car that I cannot use!
Hence if anyone knows how this problem can be resolved I may at least be able to use the car. My next step maybe to change the gearbox itself but I can't imagine that is cheap??

Hi, This is kinda going to sound daft...……….but, have you replaced/checked the brake light switch...…….check on the forum, lots about it. If the switch has gone faulty it creates all kind of weird transmission problems...….a fair few of us have had random warnings on the dash, and gear shift problems all caused by a faulty switch. Worth checking, only costs a few quid, though its a swine to change. Good luck.
