Hi all,

When starting my car from cold it starts ok but will not rev for around 10 seconds (revs around 600rpm and also sounds a bit rough running whilst like this). After the 10 or so seconds the revs rise to normal and car drives as normal for the rest of the day. I suspect a faulty glow plug, any other thoughts? (Car got 25k miles on the clock)

Right, thought I would just buy a set of bosch glow plugs and fit the to see if fixes issue - genuine bosch set £40. Glow plugs arrived, took car to my workshop and proceeded to remove air intake assembly. Once removed I eventually found the glow plugs mounted behind the turbo - WTF! Didn’t fancy removing the turbo so managed to pop the plugs and test resistance - all four 0.7-0.8 ohms which appear healthy.

Does the turbo really need removed to change glow plugs? Car is still under warranty - should I be booking it into a fiat dealer? Or any other suggestions?
