Has anyone found a firm who makes a PROPER carpet for this model? I mean one that you'd find on any other production car except a Q or F since we're evidently not considered worthy enough to qualify for something better than slippery cheap nasty plastic matting?

I guess I could rip the seats out and lift the whole plasticness and draw round it on a piece of Axminster or similar but I did wonder if anyone made tailored-to-fit car durable carpeting.

In hope,

(Yeee! Soon to be R-Q-M as I'm changing the dark grey Qubo for a 6 month newer one on Saturday, metallic red and 40,000 fewer miles on it.. (y) )

My Qubo has a deep pile grey carpet throughout, with just a plastic insert for the drivers heels. Though I also have a full set of genuine Qubo mats to protect the carpet. So guess the carpets must be available through the Fiat spares network, though you may need a bank loan..........haha.

I'm with k333fer. Much prefer the plastic matting, in winter piece of pish to clean, also if the floor gets damp, it dries off quickly without leaving that horrible musty smell on carpet.

Yept, know what you mean. However my Qubo has all leather (grey) upholstery, so happen plastic floor covering would look out of place.................never had a problem with wet carpet, the mats take all the hammering, and they soon dry...........

On a related note has anyone found a good way way of stopping floor matts sliding around on the plastic floor? Ideally i'd like something which isn't permanent.

Double sided carpet/mat tape.........only last for so long, but cheap & easy to replace. Use it under a mat on cushion floor in the kitchen......

The driver's side has two poppers to locate it but the pax side one just slides all over. I cut a piece of that rubbery mat that goes on trays to stop your plates sliding around. That then meant the mat AND the rubbery bit slid about independently. I glued the rubbery mat to the underside of the carpet and now there just one mat sliding about again. Useless. I think it's a disgrace to fit a car with rubber matting when all other cars get carpets. I could use Velcro but since that's a good fastener what adhesive would resist the pulling apart for vaccing out purposes?
