Hi,

We have recently joined the Qubo club with a 12 MyLife and would like to add the genuine Longitudinal Roof Bars which unfortunatly has never had.

Can these be added now? If so, is it possible to buy these from a Fiat dealer and have them fitted, or is it a case of buying them from ebay and fitting them ourselves? If this is the case, how easy is it to do, and can anyone point me in the direction of any instructions?

Cheers

Hi, yes very easy to do. Get them from wherever you like. Got mine from ebay don't forget they also are listed for the van variants bipper, fiorino and nemo. There are a number of black M6 plastic screws filling the holes, mine came out OK if you don't rush. Note that any bars are likely to have different length screws down the length to use, too long a screw in a hole passes one off somewhat. Just go for it.

They are easy to fit in under an hour....small step ladder helps fitting
The one's on ebay i looked at can't take a lot of weight, so be careful, i'd go for the pukka fiat, citroen or peugeot one's from a breakers ect, the one's i got from one of our members on here are from a fiorino adventure, they look the nuts.
I also went for the low profile bars as well which ads no height and look good as i wanted to leave them permanently fitted also no wind noise at speed.

Apologies for the amateurish posted long link but there's a bug on the iPad that means when you select text to put in a hyperlink, tapping the next icon to open the insert it crashes and reverts back to the home screen. I wrote an essay there and just lost the lot!

Any road up, that link takes you to a Qubo ad on eBay for a set of rails for £59.99 - I put in 'breaking Fiat Qubo' as I was looking for a couple of alloys, one to replace a pothole-buckled one and for a spare.

Good luck ;)

P.S.- Ask for the mounting screws!
