My Qubo, when in for 20k service last week hadn't thrown up any fault codes despite the episodes with this 'No ASR, No Hill Hold' then the only up to 3rd gear thing.
The garage guy suggested trying the dealer to see if there is a firmware update - is this likely on a 2012 model? I suppose there could be bug fixes or improvements but is a place such as Stoneacre likely to have this available to them? There don't seem to be specialised single-marque dealers any more and the last trip to Autoworld with the van didn't gain any deeper insight into the wonders of Fiat computers and the guy actually told me they couldn't go 'that far' inside the ECU to find things like the number of flick flashes on the indicators or a couple of others I asked about.

Just wondering if it's worth even ringing up to see..

As long as the garage has a main dealer fiat diagnostic platform that is registered and on line the procedure is simple really
Connect to vehicle log in and carry out full scan any modules requiring a reflash will appear with a lightning strike next to them then just hit reflash and away you go
As for the 3 flash indicators reckon that's an eu thing as all marques only give 3 flashes
