I was looking back at some posts and noticed 1 picture of yours showed a power socket just to the left hand side of steering wheel. Did you get the supply direct from battery or from elsewhere?
Cheers my man

That socket actually is an audio aux in socket
I have recreantly put a 12 socket in the back on the cubby panel on the left, and i did run this direct to the battery and a in-line fuse at the battery end.

There's already wiring and socket for a rear power outlet on the offside behind the blanking panel - which on the n/s is a pocket so why not on the o/s? Just need an ebay power socket and the ability to tighten a nut behind a closed panel ;) and how to find a matching plug to connect to the loom.
