165.95 including vat.asked in garage (fiat) how much to fit they said about 120 quid as they might have to take the bumper off!
I looked under the vehicle all studs there so I ordered the kit,You do not have to take the bumper off pull out plug under tail gate this is were the bit pops out for winding the wheel up and down, took approx 25mins to fit it on my own.bought a 15" steel rim took it to quick fit for tyre bingo sorted, got alloys on it so was'nt paying 120 quid for an alloy wheel I would hopefully never use.
regards Alan

Could you let me know what the parts code is for the kit you ordered? My local dealer still has their head buried in the sand and swears that the parts don't exist! Every time I hassle them about it I feel like I've slipped into a Franz Kafka story and end up going round and round in circles. My neighbour has a set of ramps and if it just involves bolting stuff on I'm prepared to stick it on myself.

If it helps, there is a mechanism on eBay although it says not for people carrier/Multispace though I don't know why there's a difference - maybe tailgate vs barn doors?

Sounds to me your dealer can't be bothered.
The parts do exist.......obviously, but have you tried contacting a citroen or peugeot dealer they might be more helpfull
And as for bolting them on, it is as easy as that.
As far as i know there is no difference in all the variations of qubo or van be it doors or tailgate.

all the dealer has to do is put in spare wheel carrier it pops up on screen and he can print the parts picture off so you can see it
cannot give you nos i have binned it

anyone know which side at the rear is the loom for the lights as i am fitting a reversing aid, dealer 300 quid
me 20 quid off amazon, fit one on my previous car only two wires one to brake light, one to earth. even comes with drill for holes
masking tape across bumper mark centres for sensors bingo should take you 30 mins

I have one of these kits but not got around to fitting it yet but there seems to be plenty of room behind the side trim panel in the boot so I was going to put mine there.

part numbers from ePER if anyone needs them
51910321 VESSEL (main part of wheel carrier)
51904140 SPACER (2 required)
51832693 SPACER
15503625 NUT (M8 six needed but min pack 20 you can probably use your own)
55192179 SCREW (M6 x 16 only one required I think!)
14059211 NUT (M6 5 needed)
12646721 PLANE WASHER (M8 six needed)
51910873 SUPPORT (part that holds wheel)
51910872 SCREW (two needed)

this is for a steel spare wheel. some parts are different if you use an alloy spare.

Ha, you've beaten me to it. I managed to find a Fiat dealer across the other side of the county who was more than happy to fit the spare wheel carrier for me and even gave me a small discount on the parts. It was fitted and my car given a clean in less than an hour.

I was planning on scanning in the parts list and diagrams if anybody wants the details. Still can if needed.

Parts and fitting for me came to just under £190 so it is by no means a cheap job. I do wonder why the original owner of my car didn't just tick the £90 option when ordering the car...

Oh yes, be warned. If you decide to order the Fiat issue jack and wheel brace the cost goes up even more. The steel rims are thankfully quite cheap.

I ordered a steel wheel (spare) for my Fiorino and that with the underbody frame plus a goody bag under the pax seat was 'the whole pack' - no extra cost for the brace, jack etc.

Spare wheel wind-up kit complete on eBay here for £25 plus £8 p+p

I bought one last week from a breaker on eBay for £50 (still under half price of Fiat) and fitted it on Sunday with my own (6 off) M8 Nyloc nuts. It didn't come with the 3 stand off brackets though and the breaker says they weren't on the car :( so I still have to find those. Fitting took about 15 minutes, no need to jack the car up - nice clearance :)
