Hi All

I'm considering a FIAT Qubo MJ and am seeking some opinion on just how slow the are (or not!).

I currently drive a 1.2 Panda which is absolutely fine for me & the Mrs & the boy in terms of spriteliness. Has anybody experience of both these cars? I would hope that the 140Lb ft of the diesel would offset the extra weight for in gear acceleration (I can find no figures on line)?

Depends if you are into just making progress or thrashing around in a petrol engine.

All the Qubos over here have no problem with keeping up with the traffic, even the vans that look well laden.

Try one.

I have a qubo MJ, I used to have a 1600 petrol engine before, so it took a bit of getting used to. Undoubtedly it is not the quickest off the block, but I have no probs keeping up with traffic, even with a full load and roof rack on.

Now the engine has loosened up and I am used to the smaller engine, I am very happy with my vehicle.

I'll third that! Fantastic car, the 1.3MJ Diesel take a little getting used to but mine has loosened up nicely and drives well.
