i have a punto mk1 60 sx . i think the car came with a factory fit alarm but for wat eva reason ppl before me hasd a different alrm put in .

i was about to fit a new alarm as neither the factory fit or the one they had replaced it with works.
i bought a new alarm one with a flip out key (like audi or vw)

but problem is i had a small bulb (like a sensor) on the key for the ignition (it was NOT a fob the u pressed it was solid) but had this bulb on it
when getting key to fit new alarm fob i broke this.

bloke at fiat said that the key and fob (of oringinal key) work together and now i cant drive me car at all


does any one have any ideas.

i dont have the RED key

im not totaly sure, but i think you mean you broke your immobiliser code chip? if so its easy to fix.

if it is that, you will need to buy this for cheapest fix.-

if i change the ecu the ignition barrel and the imobilizer the new key should work

as long as the ecu etc is of the same part and model number right????

just so everybody knows this does work by getting a new ecu mobilizer & ignition plus lock set and key 9all of same part or from same car)

started straight up

All from the same car will work. Same model but different cars possibly wouldn't.
