The cooling light comes on for a few moments and then goes off.

The oil was low, put in two cans of oil, and topped up the water.

The head gasket was replaced two years ago. In the coolant, do I add just water, or do I need coolant, with it. I have been told differently by everyone I speak too.

Also could the water be leaking ??? what can it be.

50% water 50% coolant should be put in the coolant system, coolant light could be coming on as theres no coolant in the system causing it to over heat maybe? i would have to say sounds like theres air in your coolant system if the light only stays on for a momeant you will have to bleed your radiator. When you say do you have a leak? is the coolant water going down fast or something? or is it just because the lights on your thinking you have a leak if the coolant isnt going fast then i would suspect its not a leak..
