Does anyone have any idea where I could purchase a set of clear rear clusters or lexus type rear clusters for the Mk1 Punto?

I've only ever seen one pic of a Punto with clear lights ...but it was from Belgium.

If anyone could help that would be great!

The clear ones were hand made by the owner.
You can already get smoked but clear, lexus and afterburners will be a few months.
ABC Design are on the case of the afterburners and an Indian company are soon importing the other ones.
I will post on here when they are around.

Autotint design did'nt answer my mails, took 14 calls to answer the phone and they told me they're not available until July due to manufacturing problems. ********!!!

I've got a guy on Ebay that I just bought a spoiler from who says that he is just waiting for clear rear clusters to come back into stock.

Because I have been on his case for about 6 months and every time I contact him I use a different e-mail address and every time he says to contact again in 6 weeks.

It dont matter if u win by an inch or a mile ... winnings winning!

Firstly you put your lights in the oven for a few minutes, this softens the glue so you can get the plastic lens off. You then need to get clear thermal plastic, attach it to a frame and heat it again in the oven. When you take it out you push the light into it and the plastic mould round it, trim and glue when cold.

Sounds easy but isn't

Don't worry people! Lexus style lights have just been released in this counrty! they are available on the 22nd of this month! the website that i have found which will do them is:

Also they are only £159 so damn cheap really compared to lexus for other cars i.e. focus at over 200squid.

Do worry, if you see them on the car you will be really disapointed.

The lower red lens is massive and perfectly round. To quote a PSC member who has actually seen these in the flesh "they are shockingly gash".

Dont bother with clear or lexus lights, just spary yor OE lights the same colour as the rest of your car. It looks better and is cheaper!!!!!
