ive bought myself a gear knob and gaiter, only to realise that on the mk1 the standard gaiter clips into place, removing this and replacing it with the new one will not clip down, is there a way around this or have i just bought a stupid replacement??? :bang:

yeah its possible.

you'll need to cut little slots in the new leather to make the clips go thru.
