I've got a 1995 55s punto and I've taken the nasty looking 55s badges of the front wings, if i take the fiat and the punto badge of the boot am i going to find huge gaping holes under them???

Cheers

My mum says im cool...even if my friends dont...

unfortunately yep.

did the same thing mate. quickly put them back on cos I couldn't be bothered with the hassel of filling the holes.

the is a white punto somewhere near me that has taken them out anyway but it looks s**t.

leave them in unless you can get someone to fill the holes for cheap [8D]

and he said to his himself, "wow! what was that thing, it went like a blurr. I wish I had a Punto".

Cheers mate i don't think i'll venture taking them off then. what to do next? hmmmmmmm

My mum says im cool...even if my friends dont...

well, you could replace your badges with shiny mk2 ones. they'd stick on over the holes and would look class. go on you know you want to

Met Cognac 99 Brava 100 HSX, what do you want? cupholders? open door warning light? grow up!

I just saw this post and thought I'd reply. I completely debadged my mk1 punto the other week (apart from the front, I think it looks better with the badge on than off)

Filling the holes is a piece of ****, get behind the holes by taking the bootdoor trim off (1 screw + panel clips) tape or bond repair mesh over holes, get back round the front of holes, use p40 fibreglas filler, sand and paint, a damn sight quicker and easier if u have non-metallic paint, add as much lacquer as required and you are done, just remember to mask the bits you dont want paint on (I know its obvious but some people think its not important)

Dont go to some body shop for them to quote you unreal prices, I know someone who paid 40 quid for a job that looked no better than mine.

Hope that helps
