Hi,
First of all, Hello everybody, I am new here - 1 year Fiat Punto Sporting MK1 user and previously Fiat Cinquecento Sporting user for 4 yers:D

My first question is that I am going to buy K&N 57i kit for my Punto. Unfortunately I don't know if that will improve my engine performance[?] Maybe some of you have that kit fittet in the same type of engine (1.2 16v 86PS)?? If so, please tell me what's the difference in performance. You could also send me a picture from under the hood so I could see how exactly does it look like.

Thanks:)

dunno about on the punto but on my sei sporting the air filter freed up some power in the 3000+ rpm bracket - definate noticable power increase, and sounds well nice when your foot is to the floor ;)

don't get the k&n, get the piperX. this has been a subject brought up so many times on the puntosports forum.

hi well i just got k&n put on not long ago and its alrite so far as in performance it give me about 3 bhp but my punto is a active sport i don't kno if it be the same as the sporting.

I've got the same induction kit sitting in a cupboard waiting to be fitted to my Mk1 Sporting.

I'll get it done soon and let you know how it goes!

Drive it like you stole it!

i just put a 57i on my 1994 55SX...well impressed with it! great noise, vastly improved throttle response, and it feels noticeably quicker!
