Oldschool said:What is wrong in that? It is a hell of a lot of fun to upset much 'better' cars on the track with a properly prepared Punto Mk1.
I have a halfway finished race project in front of my garage and know a few people racing them most of the time with a big grin on their face.

on here the concept of 'benchracing' hasn't really taken off.
TBH there aren't many punto followers that feel the need to race them

Do you have a series over there for the punto?.... there is a one class punto series over here and its very competitive the cars are quick and cheep to race as the tech reg's are very limited, nearly standard engine and box, suspension Leda and springs free.... and i agree with you they do put a smile on your face .... they will lap the mondello international circuit in 2.07's which is faster than most people can lap it on a track day in much more expensive so called performance cars....are you allowed to alter the cars much?....
