i am going to get some alloys for my punto and cant decide what size to get 15,16 or 17's was wondering what everyones thinks

IMO 15s look best but I'm not a fan of big wheels.

what other mods have you done? and what model is it?

a) 15s - Pure performance - need a big drop to fill the arches, 60mm IMO - 195 tyres so no rubbing issues.

b) 16s - Compromise between performace and style still need a decen drop to fill arches 50mm IMO - 195 tyres so again no rubbing issues, unless you go further the 65mm then you may do.

c) 17s - Pure style, will siffer performance drop - slower acceleration, increased stress in certain components - need less of a drop -35 - 50mm drop max - wider profile tyres 205 (although can get 195s to fit), so may /will suffer rubbing issues in arches / bumpers.

it is a 3dr punto 75 sx and nothing yet wanted to get alloys first then get the other stuff only got an air filter in it at the moe lol

185/45R15 look totally nuts when you lower it to the floor

195s are fine as long as the offset it bang on, as I've found out recently, even a small quantity of track narrowing at the rear can cause issues with 195 tyres. Though what you catch on is a plastic arch cover.
